This is my lithography plate print I made in my Printmaking class, the two Japanese dragons are inspired by Yin and Yang, as they complete each other. I did research on Japanese art and art history, and because they did a lot of printmaking I thought their aesthetic was suitable for my project. I think what really pulls this piece together is the handmade Japanese kitokata rice paper. It gives it the aged scroll feel that I was looking for.  I made this print for my boyfriend of six years for his birthday.
